In a boost to Madhya Pradesh<\/a>\u2019s economic future, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav<\/a> announced on Tuesday that Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs<\/a>) worth Rs 30,77,000 crore have been signed during the recent Global Investors Summit<\/a> and in the lead-up to the business meet<\/a> in the state.The two-day event in state capital Bhopal was organised from February 24 to 25 by the Department of Industrial Policy and Investment<\/a> Promotion, Government of Madhya Pradesh, to showcase the state\u2019s investment climate and industrial infrastructure. <\/p>\n

The Summit, inaugurated by PM Narendra Modi on Monday saw key participants included industry giants like Kumar Mangalam Birla, Gautam Adani, Nadir Godrej, Piruz Khambatta, Baba Kalyani, Rahul Awasthi, and Neeraj Akhouri.<\/p>\n

Speaking at the event, Gautam Adani said, “Today is a very special day for Bhopal… After some time, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Global Investor Summit. It is a special day for all of us, especially for the people of Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh…We are organizing a big investment summit with industrialists from all over the world, new records of development will be created. This will play a very important role, especially for the youth.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, several prominent international trade and investment organizations are also participating in GIS-2025. The World Bank, represented by Country Director Auguste Tano Kouame, is playing a key role in discussions on infrastructure and digital transformation. Delegates from Germany, Japan, Switzerland, Malaysia, the UK, Poland, the Netherlands, and Canada are attending, highlighting the strong global interest in Madhya Pradesh\u2019s economic potential.<\/p>\n


Furthermore, ambassadors from Nepal, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Angola, and Burkina Faso, along with high commissioners from Rwanda, Seychelles, Jamaica, Lesotho, and Uganda, have confirmed their presence, underscoring the international significance of the event.
