The century-old <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/dravidian-movement\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dravidian movement<\/a> safeguarded Tamil and its culture because of the awareness it created and the various agitations,&#8221; Stalin said in a letter which was posted on microblogging site X.<\/p>\n<p>He also questioned BJP&#8217;s stance to point a finger at <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/tamil-nadu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Tamil Nadu<\/a> and a few other states opposing Hindi imposition and asked where the much-touted &#8220;Indian unity&#8221; was if there was no respect for the nation&#8217;s linguistic diversity.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;2-language policy to continue&#8217;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:1-->Through his letter, he emphasised that there was no space for the three-language policy in the state&#8217;s education framework and declared that the <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/two-language-policy\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">two-language policy<\/a> would continue.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tamil teacher posts vacant in KVs<\/strong><br \/>Stalin also brought up the issue of Tamil teacher positions remaining vacant in the central government&#8217;s Kendriya Vidyalaya schools in the state. He said MP Thiruchu Siva had sought from the Centre details about the appointment of Tamil teachers.
