Buch was not present to welcome Pandey when he arrived as she is down with Covid.<\/p>\n<p>Dressed in a dark blue blazer and striped shirt, Pandey told reporters that Sebi is a robust market institution that has been built over the years.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have four objectives. We work for trust, we work for transparency, teamwork and for technology. We will continue to create one of the best market institutions in the world,&#8221; Pandey said before going upstairs to sign-in. He has been appointed as <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/sebi-chairman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sebi chairman<\/a> for three years.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/include_growfast.cms?pagename=article&skipcss=1potime:2--><br \/>He emphasised the importance of trust that Sebi holds.&#8221;We hold the trust of the people of India, Parliament, government, investors and industry,&#8221; Pandey said.When asked if his leadership style would be different to that of a private sector individual, he said: &#8220;We are not going to comment on anything, anyone, or any style.
