The US has stopped sharing all intelligence with Kyiv, a Ukrainian source has said.<\/p>\n

Previously the source, with knowledge of the situation, said the halt in the flow of intelligence had been “selective”, only affecting information that could be used for attacks inside Russia.<\/p>\n

“A few hours ago, the exchange of all information was stopped,” the source said.<\/p>\n

Earlier, the Ukrainian source indicated the “selective” pause meant US intelligence would still be shared with Ukraine<\/strong><\/a> that could be used to attack Russian forces on Russian-occupied Ukrainian territory.<\/p>\n

The move is another blow for Kyiv after Donald Trump decided to pause all military aid to Ukraine following a bust-up with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in the White House.<\/p>\n

US national security adviser Mike Waltz said Washington had “taken a step back” in its relationship with Ukraine and CIA director John Ratcliffe called the suspension a “pause” and said American intelligence and military aid could begin flowing again once Mr Trump knows Mr Zelenskyy is serious about peace.<\/p>\n

“I think on the military front and the intelligence front, the pause I think will go away,” Mr Ratcliffe told Fox Business Network.<\/p>\n

“I think we’ll work shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine as we have to push back on the aggression that’s there, but to put
the world in a better place for these peace negotiations to move forward.”<\/p>\n

The US has provided Ukraine with significant intelligence since Russia invaded in 2022, including critical information its military needs for targeting Russian forces.<\/p>\n

The pause in intelligence sharing comes amid signs the frozen relationship between Mr Trump and Mr Zelenskyy appeared to be thawing following the Oval Office spat.<\/p>\n

In a speech to Congress on Tuesday, the US president said he “appreciated”<\/strong><\/a> a letter from his Ukrainian counterpart saying Kyiv was ready to sign a minerals agreement with Washington<\/strong><\/a> “at any time”. The Ukrainian leader had said it was “time to make things right” with Mr Trump.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
