Drop whatever you\u00a0are doing\u00a0and head straight to Kartik Aaryan’s Instagram handle. The actor dropped a video of him rehearsing for IIFA 2025<\/a> hosting with Karan Johar. Trust us, the clip is full of LOL-worthy banter.<\/p>\n

The video\u00a0kicks off\u00a0with a playful debate, where both Kartik and Karan claim to be the \u201croyalty\u201d of Indian cinema. It starts with Karan confidently saying, \u201cRoyalty means something, Kartik. I am the emperor of Bollywood, not you.\u201d<\/p>\n

To this, Kartik fires back, \u201cIf you are the emperor, then I am the prince of Indian cinema.\u201d<\/p>\n

KJo claps back, \u201cOh my god!\u00a0Tum aur royalty? Asli royalty main hoon.\u00a0<\/em>[You and royalty? I am the real royalty.]\u201d<\/p>\n

Kartik Aaryan<\/a> then takes a hilarious dig at Karan’s sudden physical transformation. The actor asks, \u201cAap\u00a0itne\u00a0patle kaise ho gaye? Aisa lag raha hai kisi ne Karan bhej diya hai, aur Johar baaki hai.\u00a0<\/em>[How did you become so thin? It looks like someone sent the\u00a0Karan<\/em>, but the\u00a0Johar<\/em>\u00a0is yet to come.]\u201d<\/p>\n

Karan Joha<\/a>r, not missing a beat, responds, \u201cOh Mr. Kaizada,\u201d taking a playful jab at Kartik’s film\u00a0Shehzada<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Kartik shoots back, \u201cJoke Shehzada pe banta hai.\u00a0<\/em>[The joke is on\u00a0Shehzada<\/em>.]\u201d To which Karan quips, \u201cUspe kuch nahi banta hai.\u00a0<\/em>[Nothing can be made on that.]\u201d Too good Karan, too good,<\/p>\n

FYI: Kartik Aaryan headlined Rohit Dhawan’s 2023 film\u00a0Shehzada<\/em>. The film received a lukewarm response at the box office.<\/p>\n

This year marks the 25th anniversary of IIFA, and the special edition, themed “Silver is the New Gold,” will take place in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on March 9.<\/p>\n
