The industry isn&#8217;t dying. It&#8217;s waiting to be disrupted. The problem isn&#8217;t the audience losing interest. It&#8217;s that investment is being funneled into the safe, the recycled, the formulaic.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--MIDTABOOLA--><\/p>\n<p>According to the filmmaker, the future of Hindi cinema \u201clies in betting on raw talent, bold storytelling, and directors who can take a script and direct the hell out of it. The past few years have proved:\u00a0stars\u00a0don&#8217;t necessarily bring audiences; conviction does.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hansal Mehta put his faith in the fresh generation of actors, filmmakers and writers. The director stated that they are the ones who can \u201cchange the game\u201d.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cIt will take producers with vision, platforms that\u00a0back stories\u00a0over statistics, and directors who demand authenticity\u00a0over familiarity.\u00a0It will need solid financial discipline, intelligent exhibition strategy, marketing\u00a0that is well thought out and\u00a0not the template paid publicity that is making publicists rich and the industry much poorer.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The filmmaker heaped praise on young actors whom he believed to be the \u201cfuture\u201d of Bollywood. He called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ndtv.com\/entertainment\/superboys-of-malegaon-star-adarsh-gourav-set-to-make-his-south-debut-with-a-psychological-horror-telugu-film-7844114\">Adarsh Gourav<\/a> a \u201cshape-shifter\u201d and \u201clambi race ka ghoda (in it for the long run).\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><!--#VuukleAD--><\/p>\n<p>For Hansal Mehta, <em>Jigra<\/em> fame Vedang Raina is the \u201cscreen stealer\u201d and has the \u201cpotential to break out as a serious leading man\u201d, if given the right script.\u00a0The filmmaker dubbed Ishaan Khatter an \u201cUntapped Dynamo\u201d whose \u201cenergy\u201d and \u201cinstincts\u201d were right on point.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Zahan Kapoor, Aditya Rawal, Abhay Verma and<em> Laapataa Ladies<\/em> actor Sparsh Shrivastava also made it to the list.
