The diverse cast included Neotia Foundation, <!-- -->Bharti Airtel<!-- -->, <!-- -->Cyrus Poonawalla<!-- -->, United Shippers, controversial builder <!-- -->Avinash Bhosle<!-- --> who is being investigated by agencies, Bajaj Finserv, Atul Chordia, United Phosphorus, Oberoi Realty and Abhay Firodia.<br \/>Speaking about the disclosure made by the party, working president of NCP (Sharadchandra Pawar) <!-- -->Supriya Sule<!-- --> told <span class=\"strong\">TOI<\/span>, \u201cWe are quite transparent in terms of working of our party and we expect other parties also to declare their donors.\u201d<br \/>\u201cWhen the bill (on electoral bond) was being discussed, opposition had raised several concerns but despite those red flags, govt went ahead with the bill. We are thankful to Supreme Court that it has uncovered this issue,\u201d Sule added.<br \/>NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) national spokesperson Clyde Crasto said, \u201cThese people or companies have given money to help the party. This is not like BJP where companies were compelled or forced to pay money through bonds under pressure of investigative agencies. Companies that gave us money are genuine companies and they don\u2019t have lesser income than the bonds \u2026like in the case of companies that gave bonds to BJP. These companies were not raided by ED or CBI or Income tax and they didn\u2019t give the bonds to buy their freedom.\u201d<br \/>Most of the donors to NCP are Pune-based. Cyrus Poonawalla was in college with senior Pawar. At a public event recently, Pawar urged govt to confer Bharat Ratna on Poonawalla, who is chairman of Serum Institute of India. Builder Avinash Bhosle founded his business in Pune. Bhosale, arrested in 2021 and in jail since then in connection with DHFL loan case, was an influential builder during Congress-NCP rule in Maharashtra.
