The violence erupted in central Nagpur on Monday evening following rumours that a holy book of the Muslim community was burnt during a protest by a right-wing group demanding the removal of Aurangzeb\u2019s tomb.<\/p>\n<p><!--\/dynamic_link.cms?msid=107107653&subsecid=1715249553&pos=toppotime:1-->In a video message, Gadkari appealed to the people of Nagpur to maintain harmony.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Nagpur always has a history of peace. Cooperate with the law and order system,&#8221; he added. &#8220;Preserve the tradition of peace and harmony that Nagpur is known for.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Gadkari assured that strict action would be taken against those responsible for unlawful activities.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I assure you all that the government will take action against those who have committed mistakes or engaged in illegal activities,&#8221; he said. &#8220;The Chief Minister has already been informed about this situation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He urged people to <a ref=\"dofollow\" data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/avoid-rumours\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">avoid rumours<\/a> and work together to maintain peace.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I request everyone not to pay attention to rumours.
