The party received Rs 73.5 crore through EBs till Feb when Supreme Court struck it down.<br \/>In an earlier submission to EC in May 2019, details of which were made public on Sunday, RJD had disclosed that it received Rs 1 crore through EBs from Delhi-based Prudent Electoral Trust just ahead of the last general election.<br \/>The party, founded by <a href=\"https:\/\/timesofindia.indiatimes.com\/topic\/lalu-prasad-yadav\" styleobj=\"[object Object]\" class=\"\" target=\"\" frmappuse=\"1\" rel=\"noopener\">Lalu Prasad<\/a> and currently headed by his son <!-- -->Tejashwi Yadav<!-- -->, had returned to office in the state in July 2022 in alliance with Nitish Kumar. The alliance of JD(U), RJD and Congress broke in Jan 2024 after Kumar went back to the NDA fold.<br \/>Data provided by RJD to EC in Nov 2023 showed that the party got Rs 55 crore in donations between July and Oct 2023.
