NZ Vs PAK:<\/strong> New Zealand opener Tim Seifert takes Shaheen Afridi for a ride in the 2nd T20I against Pakistan, by smashing 4 sixes off the left-arm pacer’s over, that yielded 26 runs.<\/p>\n

The incident occured during the 3rd over of the 2nd innings, as Shaheen Shah Afridi marked his run-up to bowl his 2nd over of the day. The first over of New Zealand’s innings went for a maiden, as Tim Seifert failed to connect any ball towards the ropes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The 3rd over was pure chaos, as the Kiwi batter decided to shuffle across and disrupt the Pakistani pacer’s line & length. The plan worked wonders as the first two deliveires went for a huge six, followed by a good comeback from Shaheen Afridi in the next two balls, only for him to bowl looseners on his last two deliveries that went sailing over the ropes.<\/p>\n

Tim Seifert Awarded Player Of The Match<\/span><\/h2>\n

Tim Seifert played a superb knock of 45 runs, that helped New Zealand win the 2nd T20I to take a 2-0 lead in the series. For his antics, the Kiwi batter was awarded the Player of the Match.<\/p>\n

“Yeah, it was great fun. After that first over, thought it could be a tricky wicket. But batting with Finn was great fun. To be honest, there isn’t much conversation. We have played a lot of cricket. Just back yourself and your skills. It’s a dream to be playing for your country. It’s great fun to be back with the boys. You are playing with the best players in the world,” said Tim Seifert.<\/p>\n

“At the same time, you have to back yourselves and put pressure on the bowlers and just relax. As a player, you definitely learn as you get better. I dropped two catches in the first game. I was nervous. You have to try to work on different things because you don’t want to be playing just as a batter,” he added.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
