In 2024, less than 0.01 percent of arriving international travelers had their electronic devices searched, according to the agency.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<aside class=\"css-ew4tgv\" aria-label=\"companion column\"\/><\/div>\n<div data-testid=\"companionColumn-2\">\n<div class=\"css-53u6y8\">\n<p class=\"css-at9mc1 evys1bk0\">Mr. Baptiste\u2019s office declined to provide further details about the case, and the National Center for Scientific Research did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
