Jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi<\/a>‘s gang on Sunday claimed the responsibility of firing incident that took place at Bollywood superstar Salman Khan<\/a>\u2019s home.<\/p>\n

Anmol Bishnoi, Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother based in the US, also stated that this incident serves as the “first and last warning” for Salman Khan. He ominously hinted that if there’s a next time, the bullets won\u2019t be aimed at walls or an empty home, indicating a direct threat to the actor.<\/p>\n

On Facebook, Anmol Bishnoi, purportedly posted a message claiming, “Salman Khan, this is just to show you a trailer, to make you understand our power and not to test our patience further\u2026 This is the first and final warning to you. Next time, the bullets won\u2019t be fired at walls or empty homes. You consider Dawood Ibrahim and Chhota Shakeel as your gods, but we have two dogs named after them\u2026 This hint is enough and I don\u2019t want to say anything more,” Anmol Bishnoi said in the post, signed off with \u2018Jai Shri Ram\u2019.”<\/p>\n

Salman Khan and his family have been receiving death threats from Punjab-based mafia groups like the Bishnoi gang for several years. These threats have taken various forms, including letters addressed to the family.<\/p>\n

Two motorbike-borne unidentified persons opened fire outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s house early Sunday morning leading the police to enhance security around his residence and launch a search for the accused, an official said. The two persons fired four rounds outside the Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai<\/a>‘s Bandra area, where the actor resides, at around 5 am and fled from the spot, the police official said.<\/p>\n

Security outside Khan’s residence was stepped up and the police were collecting footage of the CCTV cameras installed near his house to identify the persons, he said.Local police, crime branch personnel and a team of forensic experts reached the spot to collect evidence and started a probe into the incident.There was no official word from the police or Khan’s family on whether the actor was present in the house at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n

In March last year, an e-mail threatening Khan was received at his office following which the Mumbai Police registered an FIR against gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi and Goldy Brar and another person under Indian Penal Code sections 120-B (criminal conspiracy), 506-II (criminal intimidation) and 34 (common intention).<\/p>\n

The FIR was based on a complaint lodged with Bandra Police by one Prashant Gunjalkar, who according to police frequently visited the Bandra-based residence of Khan and ran an artist management company.<\/p>\n

The e-mail stated that Khan must have seen an interview given to a news channel by Lawrence Bishnoi, and if not, he should see it. Addressing Gunjalkar, it said if Khan wants to close the matter, he should talk face-to-face with Goldy bhai, adding “there is still time but agli bar, jhatka dekhne ko milega” (you’ll see something shocking next time), reported PTI, citing police as saying earlier.<\/p>\n

In June 2022, an unidentified person threatened Khan via a handwritten note, they said.<\/p>\n
