NEW DELHI: NEW DELHI: India and Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul<\/a> and wife Athiya Shetty<\/a> were blessed with a baby girl on Monday.
Athiya shared the joyful news on Instagram, writing: “Blessed with a baby girl.”<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, KL Rahul’s much-anticipated debut for his new IPL franchise turned into disappointment for fans, as he was absent from Delhi Capitals’ playing XI in their season opener against Lucknow Super Giants at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Monday.
Although captain Axar Patel did not mention Rahul\u2019s absence at the toss, reports suggest that he missed the game due to personal reasons.
The Delhi Capitals management granted Rahul special permission to skip the match against his former franchise, LSG.
