Barkha Bisht and Indraneil Sengupta,<\/a> who starred together in the television show Pyaar Ke Do Naam Ek Raadha Ek Shyaam, got married in 2008 but the two parted ways in 2022. In a recent interview, Barkha opened up about the current status of her relationship with Indraneil and shared that he is not actively involved in raising their 13-year-old daughter.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Siddharth Kannan on his YouTube channel, Barkha shared that Indraneil isn\u2019t actively present in their daughter\u2019s life but she has accepted it with a heavy heart. She shared that while people might assume that she is intentionally trying to keep Indraneil away from their daughter, that isn\u2019t the case. She said, \u201cI still have a lot of love for Indraneil. I don\u2019t know about respect, but love. I have spent beautiful 15 years of my life with him. I never wanted to spoil his relations with his daughter. I am not the kind to do all this. When he couldn\u2019t give me loyalty, love and stability in a marriage, what will I do with anything else?\u201d Barkha spoke about her daughter and added, \u201cShe now has developed an emotional maturity, which I wish had not come to her yet, maintaining her innocence.\u201d<\/p>\n

Recalling her divorce, Barkha shared it was the same time when she was shooting for her films Safed (2023) and 1920: Horrors of Heart (2023). Shooting for these films was quite difficult for her as she was emotionally vulnerable at the time. She shared director-producer Vikram Bhatt, actor Suniel Shetty, and Safed director Sandip Ssingh helped her through this time. \u201cVikram is an eloquent speaker and he would talk to me during 1920 shoot. He would ask me to vent it out. It was like I was taking therapy while also shooting for my film. Sandip and Vikram were like my therapists\u201d, said Barkha. She added, \u201cSuniel Shetty kept a constant check on me. Every two days, he would drop me a text: \u2018How you doing today?\u2019 I would cry to him too while shooting for a project. I also had Sohail Khan helping me.\u201d They were working on the web series, Hunter: Tootega Nahi Todega.<\/p>\n

In the same interview, Barkha also reacted to the many rumoured link ups that have been attached to her name since her divorce. She said, \u201cPeople keep linking me to a lot of people. In between, they had spread rumours that I was dating Karan Veer Mehra. A lot of people trolled me on it. When I went to support him on Bigg Boss, people began to speculate, \u2018Because she is so obsessed with Karan, her marriage ended\u2019. When I posted pictures with Karan, people would comment, \u2018How is her husband allowing all this?’\u201d<\/p>\n

When asked about her relationship with Ashish Sharma, Barkha said, \u201cHe is a very special friend of mine.\u201d She explained, \u201cI found him when I needed it the most. I am not someone who hides my relationships. Right now, my daughter is watching every step of mine. I am focused on her and I can\u2019t focus on relationships. I can\u2019t be casually dating.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
