Salman Khan\u2019s<\/a><\/strong> Eid release Sikandar opened at the box office with underwhelming numbers<\/a><\/strong>, and its performance continues to dip as the week progresses. Amid the film\u2019s lukewarm reception, a clip from Salman\u2019s recent interview has been going viral, where he speaks about how, despite giving shout-outs to his contemporaries\u2019 films, they don\u2019t extend the same support to him.<\/p>\n

In an interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Salman shared his thoughts on why his colleagues \u2013 Shah Rukh Khan, Sunny Deol<\/a>, and others \u2013 don\u2019t promote his films, even though he often tweets in support of their upcoming projects. He said, \u201cUnko aisa lagta hoga ki zaroorat nahin padti mujhe<\/em>\u00a0(Maybe they think that I don\u2019t need their support.)\u201d However, he quickly added, \u201cBut, sabko zaroorat padti hai<\/em> (Everybody needs support, including me).\u201d<\/p>\n

The Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan actor didn\u2019t stop there. He went on to praise Sunny Deol\u2019s upcoming film Jaat, which is set to release on April 10, just a week after Sikandar\u2019s release. Despite knowing that his film will be competing with Jaat, Salman didn\u2019t hesitate to give a shout-out to the Sunny Deol starrer. \u201cThe way Sunny is going, I think he will hit the ball out of the park,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Earlier, Salman had tweeted in support of films like Kiran Rao\u2019s Laapata Ladies, Akshay Kumar<\/a>\u2019s Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, Shah Rukh Khan\u2019s Pathaan and Jawan and many others. However, Salman himself is not going through the best phase of his career. His previous films \u2013 Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023), Antim (2021) and Radhe (2021) \u2013 failed to leave a significant impact at the box office. Sikandar also had a lower-than-expected opening and is able to collect Rs 84.25 crore within four days of release.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
