The road to WrestleMania<\/a> is picking up steam like never before, and the latest episode of SmackDown has given fans much to anticipate and wonder as the big event gets closer each day. CM Punk, who will be fighting in the main event of WrestleMania for the first time, finally revealed his big \u2018favour\u2019 in front of his competitors. Punk has asked for Paul Heyman, who was his former manager, to be in his corner for the main event rather than Roman Reigns\u2019.<\/p>\n

Recalling an old conversation from the time he was leaving the WWE, Punk shared the reason behind this favour and said, \u201cYou (Heyman) said, \u2018You\u2019ll be fine,\u2019 and I apologised for making it about me and asked, What can I do for you? You said, \u2018Punk, when you are at Wrestlemania, force them to deal with us.\u2019 Well. They are no longer here, so I am going to force you (Reigns) to deal with us.\u201d<\/p>\n

Heyman is currently managing Roman and has stayed with him throughout his \u2018tribal chief\u2019 era, in which the wrestler managed one of WWE\u2019s most impressive title runs, which lasted for a record 1316 days. As the favour was revealed in front of Punk\u2019s hometown, Chicago, Reigns laughed it off and said, \u201cYou do understand that he loves me, right? He needs me, and I save him. Even if I let him, he wouldn\u2019t go.\u201d Reigns then addressed Heyman and told him to let Punk down easy, but Heyman remained silent as the cheers of the crowd and Roman\u2019s confusion grew with every passing second.<\/p>\n

Heyman and Punk have had a long history, and the former has gone to bat for Punk multiple times throughout his career. He has managed other top talent, such as Brock Lesnar and now Roman, but his relationship with Punk is much deeper. As anticipation grew in the crowd, Roman gave his manager one last chance to say no, to which he replied, \u201cNo, my tribal chief, I cannot do that.\u201d Reigns stepped back in disbelief and cornered Heyman as Seth Rollins just laughed in the corner, and without skipping a beat, Punk attacked Reigns and hit him with his finisher, GTS.<\/p>\n
