Salman Khan, in an earlier interaction, had revealed that he continued shooting for Sikandar despite suffering from a rib injury<\/a><\/strong>. Now, his Sikandar co-star Vikaas Verma has shed more light on the actor\u2019s dedication, revealing that apart from filming, Salman also rode his cycle and hit the gym while dealing with the injury.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Vikaas said, \u201cI had noticed this early on \u2013 he had a rib injury. I had seen him do it every time, adjusting himself on set like that, and it would make me feel the pain, too, thinking that he must be in pain somewhere. He had this issue with his shoulder as well. So in front of us, his shoulder massage would be constantly going on, or he would be doing it here. Sajan had advised him to keep doing that. So, his physiotherapy was always ongoing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Vikaas Verma went on to talk further about Salman Khan<\/a>\u2019s commitment to fitness and revealed that the actor would even work out in the gym following his injury. He said, \u201cDespite that, he would still come to the set and work out at the gym or ride a cycle for an hour in the rough field. He would cycle to the set, cycle back, work out at the gym, and then stand the whole day. I don\u2019t want to mention his age because he doesn\u2019t seem that old to me.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actor added, \u201cI genuinely feel he\u2019s only 5-10 years older than me. The energy he has, I can\u2019t even jump and get up on one foot like he does. I can\u2019t do that. He can still do it. So, I believe he\u2019s much younger than me and way more energetic than me. Exactly. After such injuries, we would just sit and put on a plaster. And say, mummy, I\u2019m not stepping out of the house. But that guy is working every day, so much respect for him.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite a lukewarm response at the box office, Salman\u2019s Eid release Sikandar has managed to cross Rs 150 crore<\/a> <\/strong>mark.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
