The JV will leverage Sembcorp&#8217;s experience in renewables and BPCL&#8217;s experience in the petroleum sector and its infrastructure.<br \/>The JV will also pursue projects for green ammonia production and bunkering, emissions reduction for port operations and other emerging green fuel technologies.<br \/>BPCL chairman G Krishnakumar said the JV support India&#8217;s climate goals and the company&#8217;s 2040 net-zero target with a 10 GW renewable energy portfolio.<br \/>Sembcorp CEO (West) Vipul Tuli said with focus on identifying opportunities to help decarbonise hard-to-abate sectors, Sembcorp is committed to delivering scalable, low-carbon solutions for a sustainable future.<br \/>Sembcorp is pursuing the use of green hydrogen and ammonia as key decarbonisation pathways.
