Weddings are very much a talking point for the two stars, looking forward to their romcom You\u2019re Cordially Invited, the first time they are on screen together.<\/p>\n<p>While Ferrell recalled that he once received an open invitation for one, Withersp got a glimpse into an Indian wedding through Mira Nair\u2019s 2001 film Monsoon Wedding.<\/p>\n<p><ev-engagement group-name=\"contentLogin\"\/><ev-engagement group-name=\"myNotification\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"ev-meter-content ie-premium-content-block\">\n<p>\u201cI was staying at a hotel once where they were having an Indian wedding. I believe it was taking over the course of three days. We were asking some of the guests, like, \u2018What\u2019s going on?\u2019 They were like, \u2018Oh, my cousin\u2019s getting married. Do you guys want to come?\u2019<\/p>\n<div class=\"osv-ad-class\" style=\"background-color: #f2f2f2;height: 375px;margin-bottom: 15px;\">\n<p>Story continues below this ad<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt was like an open invite. I should have taken them up on the offer\u2026 it looks like a lot of fun,\u201d Ferrell told PTI in a Zoom interview.<\/p>\n<p>The prospect of attending an Indian wedding is amazing, added his co-star Reese Witherspoon. \u201cI\u2019ve seen the movie Monsoon Wedding, which was very beautiful.
