Celebrity wedding photographer Joseph Radhik recalled anecdotes from various high-profile weddings that he has worked on over the years, and admitted that he didn\u2019t know that Nick Jonas is a globally renowned pop-star. Joseph shot Nick and Priyanka\u2019s wedding<\/a><\/strong> in 2018, and said in a new interview that he was surprised to see that Nick could sing. When he voiced his surprise, Priyanka didn\u2019t believe him, and her cousin, Parineeti Chopra, had to inform him that the reason Nick can sing is because he does it for a living.<\/p>\n

In an appearance on the All About Eve podcast, Joseph said, \u201cI knew Nick as the actor in Jumanji, and not for the Jonas Brothers. I grew up in the wrong era, so I was not part of the Disney childhood. I didn\u2019t watch much TV, and whatever little I watched was Doordarshan. I knew Priyanka Chopra<\/a>, obviously. I was a huge fan.\u201d Joseph said that he has only been star-struck once in his career, despite having observed celebrities so closely over the years. He sheepishly admitted that he had to pinch himself while photographing Priyanka during her wedding.<\/p>\n

Continuing his story about Nick, he said, \u201cThe Jonas family took the mic and started singing at the mehendi, and I was like, \u2018Man, these guys can sing\u2019. I said this out loud. The bride thought I was joking. The bride\u2019s sister (Parineeti) had to tell me that they\u2019re a part of an actual brand. I\u2019ve met Priyanka and Nick at so many weddings after, and they come up to me and say hi. They\u2019re the sweetest people. At every baraat, Nick would be the first to find me across the room. He\u2019s very Punjabi. That whole family is very Punjabi. They\u2019re the best version of Punjabi. They sing, they dance, they\u2019re warm\u2026\u201d<\/p>\n

In an appearance on the Read the Room podcast, Priyanka opened up about how they embraced each other\u2019s cultures<\/a><\/strong> after their marriage. She said that Nick discovered that in order to be heard, he\u2019d have to learn how to speak over others, like Indians do. \u201cWe are loud and every one speaks over each other. So for Nick, he had to learn to cut people off, he had to learn to speak over everyone. He is like, \u2018aye, I am saying this!\u2019. I had to learn how to wait, let someone finish their sentence. I\u2019m like, \u2018I know what you are saying but I\u2019ll wait for you to finish\u2019,\u201d she shared.<\/p>\n

Priyanka and Nick tied the knot in an elaborate wedding at the Umaid Bhawan in Udaipur. They got married in accordance with Christian and Hindu traditions, and their wedding festivities were widely publicised online through numerous brand deals. They welcomed their first child, daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, in 2022.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
