Blake Lively\u2019s former co-stars from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants\u2014America Ferrera, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel\u2014have voiced their support for the actor after she filed a lawsuit against her It Ends With Us director and co-star, Justin Baldoni, accusing him of harassment and launching a smear campaign against her.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

The trio shared a joint statement, declaring, \u201cAs Blake\u2019s friends and sisters for over twenty years, we stand with her in solidarity as she fights back against the reported campaign waged to destroy her reputation. Throughout the filming of It Ends with Us, we saw her summon the courage to ask for a safe workplace for herself and colleagues on set and we are appalled to read the evidence of a premeditated and vindictive effort that ensued to discredit her voice.\u201d<\/p>\n

They also criticized Justin Baldoni and his team for weaponizing the story of It Ends With Us, which is centered on domestic violence survivors, to silence a woman advocating for her safety. \u201cThe hypocrisy is astounding,\u201d the statement read. It further read, \u201cWe are struck by the reality that even if a woman is as strong, celebrated, and resourced as our friend Blake, she can face forceful retaliation for daring to ask for a safe working environment. We are inspired by our sister\u2019s courage to stand up for herself and others.\u201d<\/p>\n

Earlier, Colleen Hoover, the writer of the book It Ends With Us on which the film is based, and also an executive producer of the movie, came forward to support Blake Lively<\/a><\/strong>. Taking to her Instagram Stories, Colleen wrote, \u201c@blakelively, you have been nothing but honest, kind, supportive and patient since the day we met. Thank you for being exactly the human that you are. Never change. Never wilt.\u201d<\/p>\n

In her lawsuit, Blake Lively alleged that Justin Baldoni engaged in sexual harassment and orchestrated a smear campaign to damage her reputation. Among the allegations, Blake accused Justin of showing her nude images, discussing his porn addiction with her, and body-shaming her.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
