A man was allegedly murdered by his wife and her lover in Haryana\u2019s Bhiwani district after he discovered their relationship, police said. The woman, Ravina, and her lover transported the victim\u2019s body on a bike and dumped it in a drain on the outskirts of the city. The murder took place in March. Police have arrested Ravina, while her lover is absconding.<\/p>\n

Couple often fought over wife\u2019s social media activity<\/h2>\n

Ravina, a YouTuber from Joodi village in Rewari district, was married to Praveen, a resident of Gujron Ki Dhani in Bhiwani, since 2017. They had a six-year-old son named Mukul. Praveen worked as a driver at a sand and gravel shop and struggled with alcohol addiction. Police said the couple frequently argued over Ravina\u2019s videos and reels on social media.<\/p>\n

Police say woman met lover on Instagram<\/h2>\n

According to police, Ravina became friends with Suresh, a YouTuber from Premnagar village in Hisar district, through Instagram about a year and a half ago. On March 25, Praveen allegedly found Ravina and Suresh in a compromising position at their home in Bhiwani. A confrontation followed.<\/p>\n

\u201cLater that night, Ravina and her lover allegedly strangled Praveen to death,\u201d police said. The two then transported the body on a bike and dumped it in a drain along Dinod Road, outside the city.<\/p>\n

CCTV footage led to breakthrough<\/h2>\n

Praveen\u2019s decomposed body was recovered three days later during a joint search by police and family members. Investigators reviewed CCTV footage from nearby areas. On the night of the incident, a suspicious bike was seen near the family\u2019s garden. The footage showed a man wearing a helmet and Ravina sitting behind him, with what appeared to be a body placed between them.<\/p>\n

Ravina confessed to the murder during interrogation. She has been sent to judicial custody. \u201cPolice continue their search for her absconding lover, Suresh,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n

Last month, in a shocking news a former Merchant Navy officer Saurabh Rajput in Meerut was murdered by his wife with the help of lover. According to investigators, the accused couple\u2014Muskan Rastogi and Sahil Shukla\u2014rehearsed the murder several times before executing it.The couple allegedly drugged Saurabh, stabbed him, and then chopped his body into 15 pieces while he was visiting Meerut for his daughter\u2019s birthday. Police said Muskan used a cut-throat razor to slit Saurabh\u2019s throat, and Sahil later used the same razor to behead him. They then placed the body parts in a plastic drum and sealed it with wet cement.<\/p>\n

According to investigators, Saurabh had planned to take Muskan and their daughter to London. Police said Muskan feared separation from Sahil and drew up the plan to murder Saurabh with his help.<\/p>\n

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Meerut, Antriksh Jain, said, \u201cIn the postmortem report, the reason was stated as haemorrhage shock and that the left side was stabbed three times with a knife, there were cut marks on the neck and wrist and both the wrist and the neck were separated from the body…\u201d<\/p>\n

Muskan and Sahil are now in jail. Senior Jail Superintendent Viresh Raj Sharma said, \u201cIt was found that they were drug addicts…There were withdrawal symptoms, they couldn\u2019t have been accused of drugs in jail. They are being given medicines for withdrawal symptoms. They are being treated through de-addiction centres and counselling is being given to them; they are also being sent for Yoga and meditation.\u201d
