British rock band Coldplay <\/a>performed in South Korea on April 16 as part of their\u00a0Music of the Spheres<\/em>\u00a0world tour. K-pop girl group TWICE lit up the opening stage with a 40-minute set featuring their biggest hits, including\u00a0TT<\/em>,\u00a0Cheer Up<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Alcohol-Free<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In a surprise act for fans, Coldplay and TWICE<\/a> teamed up live on stage for a bilingual rendition of\u00a0We Pray<\/em>, a track from Coldplay’s 2024 album\u00a0Moon Music<\/em>. Now, the artists have announced that they will officially release\u00a0We\u00a0Pray \u2013 TWICE Version<\/em>\u00a0on April 18. Excited? We\u00a0totally\u00a0relate!<\/p>\n

Coldplay and TWICE\u00a0made the announcement\u00a0in a joint post on Instagram. The video featured Chris Martin and TWICE members vibing and singing on stage together. The side note read, “WE PRAY – TWICE Version. Seoul: 00:00 Fri April 18. London: 16:00 Thu April 17. NYC: 11:00 Thu April 17.”\u00a0<\/p>\n

Coldplay first released\u00a0We Pray<\/em>\u00a0in 2024. The original track featured a star-studded lineup including Little Simz, Burna Boy, Elyan and TINI.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The girl group TWICE, composed of nine members \u2013 Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu \u2013 debuted in 2015 with the EP\u00a0The Story Begins<\/em>. The band rose to domestic fame in 2016 with their single\u00a0Cheer Up<\/em>\u00a0and earned the honorific title of “The Nation’s Girl Group” in their home country.<\/p>\n

Since then, TWICE has released several successful albums, including\u00a0Twicetagram<\/em>,\u00a0Eyes Wide Open<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Formula of Love: O+T=<3<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The group is now all set to headline the 2025 Lollapalooza music festival in the United States. The festival is scheduled\u00a0to take place\u00a0from July 31 to August 3 at Chicago’s Grant Park.<\/p>\n

On the other hand, Coldplay still has shows lined up in South Korea before heading to their next stops in the United States, Canada and England.<\/p>\n
