Vehicular movement were affected in various parts of National Highway 44. Several buildings and vehicles were also damaged due to a landslide following heavy rains and a hailstorm. Ramban Deputy Commissioner Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary inspected the situation. India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued severe weather conditions in Jammu and Kashmir between April 18 and 20, citing the influence of an active western disturbance. \u201cA huge loss has occurred in Ramban. There is a report of three deaths. Many vehicles are stuck under the debris. A bridge near a tunnel is damaged. There is a huge loss in Banihal. The Dy CM has left for Ramban. Our ministers are also reaching out from Kashmir&#8230; This is a disaster and we will provide all the possible assistance we can.
