Prolific singer Rekha Bhardwaj<\/a><\/strong> recently performed in Bhopal. However, the concert didn\u2019t go smoothly, as she got visibly irked when the organisers set off loud fireworks while she was performing the hit song \u201cLambi Judai\u201d. What happened next, however, made fans laud and respect Rekha even more.<\/p>\n

A video from the concert is now going viral on social media. It shows Rekha<\/a><\/strong> singing the song as the fireworks suddenly interrupt her performance, prompting her to halt mid-song. The displeasure was clearly visible on her face. She said, \u201cYeh patakkhe bohut unmusical hai.<\/em> Bohut ghalat waqt pe gaye hai<\/em> (These fireworks are very unmusical. They went off at a very wrong time).\u201d She patiently waited for them to stop and even showed concern for nearby residents whose sleep might have been disturbed by the loud noises. \u201cBichare jo sogaye honge aas paas unko taqleef hogi<\/em> (Those who fell asleep, they must be having a problem),\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

When the fireworks continued, Rekha called out the organisers by name and asked them to stop the disturbance. She said, \u201cCan we please stop this? Yeh jo patakkhe. Bahut ho gaya<\/em> (These fireworks. Enough now).\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the disruption, Rekha didn\u2019t let the incident hamper her performance. The moment the fireworks stopped, she immediately resumed singing and completed her performance. Fans in the comment section lauded the singer for her patience. One fan wrote, \u201cShe was so calm and patient. Legend for a reason \ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udd25.\u201d Another commented, \u201cHandled everything with patience.\u2764\ufe0f\ud83d\ude4c.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rekha Bhardwaj made her Hindi film debut with the song \u201cEk Woh Din\u201d, composed by husband Vishal Bhardwaj, in Kamal Haasan<\/a>\u2019s 1997 comedy Chachi 420. However, she found massive accalim with \u201cNamak Ishq Ka\u201d in Vishal\u2019s Omkara (2006). Rekha Bhardwaj has several hits to her credit, including \u201cKabira\u201d, \u201cLaadki\u201d, \u201cGenda Phool\u201d, \u201cMat Aana\u201d, \u201cNikat\u201d, \u201cAise Kyun\u201d, \u201cPhir Le Aya Dil\u201d, and \u201cYeh Ishq Hai\u201d.
