For the past many years, Dr Nene has been working in the healthcare field and supporting young entrepreneurs in the sector. During a recent panel discussion, Dr Nene revealed that after his last annual health check-up, he found out that he wasn\u2019t doing very well, and so decided to make some steep changes in his lifestyle. He stopped drinking and decided to go vegan and as a result, Dr Nene lost around 18 kgs, and went down to 16 percent body fat.<\/p>\n<p>On the video shared on his YouTube channel, Dr Nene said that after his last annual health check-up, he found that he was in \u201cbig trouble.\u201d \u201cPeople were screaming at me because all my numbers were off. They were like, \u2018Doc, what are you doing? You are the healthcare one in the family,\u201d he recalled and said that he decided to switch things up after that.<\/p>\n<p><ev-engagement group-name=\"contentLogin\"\/><ev-engagement group-name=\"myNotification\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"ev-meter-content ie-premium-content-block\">\n<p>\u201cAbout 9-10 months ago, I switched it up and I went vegan, stopped drinking. We went on all kinds of transformation, testing it and I was my own guinea pig,\u201d he said and added that he had tried something similar with his father whose health started improving in his 80s. And it was able to redefine many of the lifestyle diseases. My dad has been a diabetic for 55 years. We were able to take him off medication, turn him around. He was 81 when we started that experiment, he is 86 now and doing very well,\u201d he recalled and said that he decided to do the same changes in his life. \u201cI said \u2018why can\u2019t I do that on myself? So I did that. Along the way, we dropped 18 kgs.
