Demi Moore sets an example for many on how one can age gracefully without feeling any pressure and still look stunning at 62.<\/p>\n

She has been part of the cultural moment where women in their 50s, 60s, and 70s are being celebrated and recognised.<\/p>\n

Moore believes things are \u201cvery different\u201d today than they would\u2019ve been in the past. \u201cI think that there was a sense of things ending at a certain point as opposed to the reality, which is just that we\u2019re evolving, it\u2019s not ending,\u201d she said, according to The Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have also thought recently about this idea that ageing and being old are not the same thing. And somehow we\u2019ve confused that and that ageing actually is a tremendous gift,\u201d the actress said before adding, \u201cI would not trade \u2014 you could not pay me to be 21. As good as it might sound, it was torture!,\u201d she added while speaking at the Time100 summit, according to The Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n

She shared that she is in a \u201cpeaceful space of acceptance and freedom\u201d.<\/p>\n

Actress Mikey Madison took home the Best Actress Award at the Oscars 2025. Moore shared that if she could see herself on the Dolby Theatre stage in the future, following her best actress loss to Madison.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think that would be nice. I can\u2019t say I would be mad at it,\u201d Moore said, adding, \u201cThe question is, \u2018Should I have won?\u2019 It is certainly not the perspective of how I hold it because I didn\u2019t. And I really do subscribe to this idea that everything in life is happening for me, not to me,\u201d as per the outlet.<\/p>\n

She said, \u201cOf course, there\u2019s disappointment. I also immediately recognise that there is something that is greater than I am to be in service to, even if I don\u2019t know what that is.\u201d Moore shared further, \u201cThe message here is that there\u2019s more work to be done, that this issue is not complete,\u201d according to The Hollywood Reporter.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
