Actor Ben Affleck finds himself in the news for any number of reasons, including altercations with the media, divorce, wedding, divorce again,<\/a> etc. But as of now he is under the spotlight for his latest film, The Accountant 2, which has released worldwide today. The film follows the autistic but highly skilled accountant, played by Affleck, teaming up with his long-lost brother Brax, played by Jon Bernthal. He made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about the film and everything else under the Hollywood sun.<\/p>\n

Affleck shared that he takes his kids to the premiere of his films, where they hold nothing back when reviewing the product of their father\u2019s toil. \u201cIt\u2019s a little scary because my kids are very tough, and they don\u2019t censor their criticism. They will sit right next to me to watch the movie, and while it\u2019s happening, they will go, \u2018This is terrible; why did you do this?\u2019 I mean, they could have waited till it ended. But they told me they liked this one and seemed surprised like some magical accident happened and something I did was okay,\u201d added the actor.<\/p>\n

The actor also talked about showing his kids Armageddon (1998) during Covid and how they thought that the film was \u2018stupid and illogical\u2019.<\/p>\n

Jimmy Kimmel then proceeded to show a clip from The Accountant 2, where Ben\u2019s character is fighting off some bad guys. Kimmel asked him about the shot and whether it was painful doing all the fight sequences 10 years after the initial movie, to which Ben replied, \u201cThat sequence is very deceptive because I actually performed very few of those shots. The director wants to do it in character and make it authentic, but I am not Tom Cruise trying to hold on to the plane.<\/a> I don\u2019t want to do it; I don\u2019t want to fight guys.\u201d<\/p>\n

The former Batman also recalled coming up the ranks with Matt Damon and how both of them used to work as extras in the films that were shot in Boston.<\/p>\n

The Accountant 2 has been directed by Gavin O\u2019Connor, and the cast of the film includes Ben Affleck, John Bernthal, Daniella Pineda, Cynthia Addai-Robinson and J.K. Simmons.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
