In a recent interview, Ira shared that she felt \u2018guilty\u2019 and \u2018useless\u2019 for not earning and being financially dependent on her parents in her late 20s.<\/p>\n<p>In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Ira recalled a time a few years ago when she felt guilty for not contributing financially. \u201cMain 26-27 saal ki hoon, mere maa baap ne mere upar bahut paise kharch kiye hain, aur main duniya mein bekar insaan hoon, main kuch nahi kar rahi hoon. (My parents have spent a lot of money on me. I am 26\u201327 years old, and I feel like a useless person in this world. I am not doing anything),\u201d the 28-year-old shared.<\/p>\n<p><ev-engagement group-name=\"contentLogin\"\/><ev-engagement group-name=\"myNotification\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"ev-meter-content ie-premium-content-block\">\n<p>Aamir interrupted and said that Ira wanted to imply that she was \u2018not earning money or doing something worthy\u2019 before she started Agatsu Foundation, their mental health support NGO. Whether you are earning money or not is not important; the good work you are doing is),\u201d the Dangal actor said and continued, \u201cMoney is actually a promissory note that everyone decides to agree to \u2014 or else it\u2019s just a piece of paper.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For the unversed, Ira Khan is the daughter of <a rel=\"noamphtml\" class=\"keywordtourl\" href=\"https:\/\/indianexpress.com\/about\/aamir-khan\/\">Aamir Khan<\/a> and his ex-wife Reena Dutta, and sister of actor Junaid Khan.
