Waves, World Audio Visual Entertainment Summit 2025 LIVE Updates:<\/strong> The biggest entertainment event of the year, WAVES 2025,<\/a> <\/strong>kicks off on Thursday in Mumbai. This is the inaugural World Audio Visual & Entertainment Summit hosted by Government of India, which aims to spotlight the media and entertainment industry of the country. The event will go on for four days, from May 1-4, and will witness celebrities like Shah Rukh Khan<\/a><\/strong>, Aamir Khan,<\/a> <\/strong>Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar, Hema Malini, Mohanlal, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, SS Rajamouli, Chiranjeevi, Ali Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal among many others. The event will be held at Jio World Convention Centre (JWCC) located in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai, India.<\/p>\n

The event will be opened by Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/a>. On Thursday, the panel discussion titled \u2018Legends & Legacies: The Stories that Shaped India\u2019s Soul\u2019 is scheduled to start at 12:30 pm and will see Hema Malini, Mithun Chakraborty<\/a>, Rajinikanth<\/a>, Mohanlal and Chiranjeevi, and the session will be moderated by Akshay Kumar<\/a>. The next session, which is scheduled to begin at 2:30 pm, on the subject \u2018The New Mainstream: Breaking Borders, Building Legends\u2019 will be moderated by filmmaker Karan Johar<\/a> and will see director SS Rajamouli, music composer AR Rahman, and actors Anil Kapoor, Alia Bhatt<\/a> and Vicky Kaushal.<\/p>\n

Another session, titled \u2018The Journey: From Outsider to Ruler\u2019, will see Karan Johar as the moderator with actors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone<\/a> as speakers. Later in the day, at 5 pm, Allu Arjun<\/a> will take the stage in the panel discussion titled \u2018Talent Beyond Borders\u2019.<\/p>\n

There will also be a session discussing the legacy of Manoj Kumar which will see Hema Malini and director Madhur Bhandarkar talking about the late actor\u2019s work. Apart from the panel discussions, the event will also see a performance by composer MM Keeravani, and singers Shreya Ghoshal, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam<\/a>, KS Chithra and Mangli. Later in the day, Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Ronu Majumdar, Brij Narayan, and other greats will perform for the audience.<\/p>\n
