Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursday said India will give a strong response to every form of terrorism and extremism under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.He was speaking at the inauguration ceremony of a road and statue built in honour of Bodofa Upendranath Brahma.<\/p>\n

Amit Shah said, \u201cUnder the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, we have given a strong reply to everything, be it the North East, the areas of Left Wing Extremism or the shadow of terrorism in Kashmir<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

He then issued a strong warning to those behind recent terror attacks.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf someone thinks that by carrying out a cowardly attack, it is their big victory, then understand that this is the Narendra Modi government,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cNo one will be spared,\u201d he added firmly.\u201cIt is our resolve to uproot terrorism from every inch of this country,\u201d the Home Minister stated.<\/p>\n

Speaking about Kashmir, Shah assured the people that the government was standing firm on its policy of zero tolerance towards terrorism.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, I want to tell the public that we have been fighting strongly on the policy of zero tolerance against those who have been running terrorism in Kashmir since the 90s,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

He also addressed the terrorists directly, saying, “Don’t think that you have won by killing 26 people. Everyone of you will be made answerable.”<\/p>\n

\u201cThis is not the end of the battle,\u201d he warned. \u201cEvery person will be given a befitting reply.\u201d
