Mira Rajput<\/a><\/strong> tied the knot with Bollywood heartthrob Shahid Kapoor<\/a><\/strong> in 2015 when she was just 21 years old. The two had a 14-year age gap. The couple welcomed their first child, Misha Kapoor, in 2016. In a recent interaction, Mira opened up about becoming a wife and mother at a young age. She described the early phase of her marriage as \u201cisolating,\u201d as her college friends couldn\u2019t relate to her life at the time.<\/p>\n

Speaking to influencers Naina Bhan and Sakshi Shivdasani, Mira said, \u201cI think we (Mira and her friends) did evolve separately. I\u2019d like to admit that it was quite isolating because we were just in different phases of life at that time. You get to different phases in life, and you look at your friends. I wish I could do what she\u2019s doing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mira Rajput admitted that she often felt like she was missing out when she saw her friends achieving career milestones. \u201cFor the longest time, it was me thinking, \u2018Oh, my friend has gone for her Master\u2019s, or they\u2019re travelling, or like there\u2019s a gap year. You know, life is great. You move cities, you have a wonderful family, kids, all of that,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n

However, Mira Rajput also revealed that after a few years, when her friends too got married and became parents, they were able to understand her better. \u201cI even remember I couldn\u2019t speak to them as often as I used to. They were like, \u2018What has happened? Just because you\u2019ve moved and gotten married doesn\u2019t mean you forget us.\u2019 I was like, \u2018Guys, genuinely, I\u2019m occupied and caught up and stuff.\u2019 I don\u2019t think they understood it then, but fortunately, the friendship kind of sustained. They understand it now because they\u2019re in a similar phase,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n

After welcoming Misha in 2016, Mira and Shahid became parents once again, this time to a baby boy, Zain, in 2018. Later, Mira ventured into entrepreneurship \u2014 she co-founded a skincare brand, Akind Beauty, and more recently, launched a wellness brand called Dhun Wellness.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n
