Mumbai Police<\/a> have declared gangster Lawrence Bishnoi<\/a> and his brother<\/a> Anmol Bishnoi as wanted accused<\/a> in the case related to the firing<\/a> outside Bollywood actor Salman Khan<\/a>‘s house in Bandra<\/a>. The police have also filed additional new sections to the FIR, including 506 (2) (threatening), 115 (incitement), and 201 (destroying evidence).
The Mumbai Crime Branch<\/a> has already arrested two suspects from Bhuj, who had fired outside Salman Khan\u2019s Galaxy Apartments<\/a> in Bandra on April 14. The accused allegedly told police they had carried out the firing on the behest of Lawrence Bishnoi for monetary consideration. Mumbai crime branch is searching for the suspect who provided the shooters a country-made pistol and Rs 1 lakh.<\/p>\n

The duo \u2014 Vicky alias Vikas Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21) \u2014 allegedly fired four rounds at the house. They were paid Rs 1 lakh, and Rs 3 lakh more was promised later, police said.<\/p>\n

The suspects, from Bihar\u2019s West Champaran, were apprehended on April 16 near the Mata no Madh shrine around 1.30 am as they tried to blend in with devotees gathered for Navratri celebrations. Sagar is the one who allegedly fired the weapon. Police said the duo traveled to Surat by train and disposed of their guns before going to Kutch by bus. Cops believe they reached Kutch Monday.<\/p>\n

The duo, booked for murder bid and criminal conspiracy, and under the Arms Act, has been remanded in police custody till April 25. Bishnoi and his brother Anmol have also been shown as accused.<\/p>\n

Later, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde also visited Salman Khan\u2019s house and assured him of protection. CM Shinde said stringent action will be taken against those involved in the firing. The CM said he has instructed the city police commissioner to strengthen security cover for the actor and his family.<\/div>\n
