This takes the combined enterprise value of the two entities to Rs 22,481 crore.<br \/>While Keimed is owned by the Apollo promoter&#8217;s family, <!-- -->omni-channel healthcare platform<!-- --> AHL will leverage on the former&#8217;s vast network of more than 70,000 pharmacies all over the country.The integration will take place in a phased manner over the next 24-30 months. Veda Corporate Advisors were the exclusive financial advisors to the transactions, the statement added.<br \/>AHL business comprises backend distribution services to more than 6,000 pharmacies across 1,100 cities and Apollo 24|7, a comprehensive digital health platform, encompassing a wide array of healthcare services such as doctor consultations, medicine home deliveries, diagnostics at home, chronic condition management and insurance offerings.<br \/>In a statement here on Friday, AHL said it has entered into a binding agreement to raise equity capital of Rs 2,475 crore from global private equity investor, Advent International. It will invest in compulsory convertible instruments over two tranches to secure 12.1% stake in the merged entity, by valuing the combined entity at an enterprise value of Rs 22,481 crore.<br \/>While AHL is valued at an enterprise value of Rs 14,478 crore, Keimed is valued at Rs 8,003 crore. Pursuant to merger, Keimed shareholders would hold a maximum of 25.7% stake in the combined entity, while AHEL would continue to remain the largest controlling shareholder with at least 59.2% stake.<br \/>Prathap C Reddy, chairman, Apollo Hospitals Group, said, \u201cWith Advent\u2019s investment and the merger of Keimed, the combined entity will be one of the country\u2019s leading retail health companies.\u201d<br \/>Suneeta Reddy, managing director, AHEL said, \u201cThe merger of Keimed is a significant step in the integration of the comprehensive supply chain.
