Bracewell, who recently led the Black Caps in the five-match T20 series against Pakistan came after a long 9-month injury layoff and will be crucial to the Kiwis&#8217; balance, especially on slow tracks in the West Indies. <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/topic\/kane-williamson\" rel=\"noopener\">Kane Williamson<\/a> will continue to lead the side while senior pacer <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/topic\/trent-boult\" rel=\"noopener\">Trent Boult<\/a> has also been included despite withdrawing his name from the contract list.  <!-- \/8323530\/ITv_Desktop_VDO_1X1 -->\n  <\/p>\n<p>There was no massive surprise as such with most of the familiar faces including the likes of <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/topic\/tim-southee\" rel=\"noopener\">Tim Southee<\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/topic\/mitchell-santner\" rel=\"noopener\">Mitchell Santner<\/a>, Devon Conway, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/topic\/ish-sodhi\" rel=\"noopener\">Ish Sodhi<\/a> and Matt Henry making it to the squad. A couple of names &#8211; <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/topic\/adam-milne\" rel=\"noopener\">Adam Milne<\/a> and Tim Seifert &#8211; were missing, however, New Zealand have put their faith in the lone wicketkeeping option in Conway, who is currently recovering from his hand injury.<\/p>\n<p>Rachin Ravindra and Matt Henry were the two first-timers in a T20 World Cup squad for New Zealand.
