During the chat, Sonakshi Sinha\u00a0opened up about her journey\u00a0in the Hindi film industry,\u00a0 women getting equal respect to men and more.\u00a0Recalling her early days in Bollywood, the\u00a0<em>Dabangg <\/em>star said that\u00a0she started her career with films where the\u00a0&#8220;Hero was everything.&#8221;\u00a0She went on to say, &#8220;Even today there\u00a0are some directors who live with that mentality. If the hero is on set, nothing else matters. They are\u00a0worshipping\u00a0the ground that the heroes walk on.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0ICYDK, Sonakshi Sinha made her\u00a0Bollywood debut in the blockbuster film\u00a0<em>Dabangg <\/em>alongside Salman Khan. Talking\u00a0about\u00a0her experience, the actress said, &#8220;At that point in time, I was very new and\u00a0I was getting the opportunity to be a part of these big films so\u00a0anybody would jump at it and\u00a0I did.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She added, &#8220;But eventually\u00a0I realized maybe this is\u00a0not what I want to continue doing\u00a0but those films gave me the encouragement and the power to shoulder films on my own. So, everything is a journey and\u00a0you just\u00a0have to\u00a0find your own\u00a0way.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0Heeramandi<\/em> has a stellar ensemble cast that includes Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sharmin Segal and Sanjeeda Shaikh, Fardeen Khan, Adhyayan Suman, Shekhar Suman and Taha Shah Badussha. <em>Heeramandi <\/em>will showcase the lives of courtesans, set against the backdrop of the Indian freedom struggle of the 1940s.
