Ruslaan<\/em>\u00a0seems to be struggling to resonate with movie buffs. On its first Saturday (day 9), the film reportedly failed to sell any tickets, closing at zero revenue, as per a\u00a0Sacnilk\u00a0<\/a>report. Up to now, the action-packed movie has garnered \u20b94 crore at the domestic box office. Directed by Karan Butani,\u00a0Ruslaan<\/em>\u00a0features Aayush Sharma in the titular role. He portrays the son of a dead terrorist, who is later adopted by a police officer. The film also features Sushrii Mishraa, Vidya Malvade,\u00a0Jagapathi Babu<\/a>, and Sangay Tsheltrim in significant roles.\u00a0Ruslaan\u00a0<\/em>has been produced by KK Radhamohan’s Sri Sathya Sai Arts.<\/p>\n

Ruslaan<\/em>\u00a0marks the Bollywood debut of\u00a0Sushrii Mishraa<\/a>, who plays the role of Vaani in the movie. A few days ago, the actress shared a series of pictures and videos on Instagram, featuring behind-the-scenes fun from the film’s set. In her caption, Sushrii expressed her gratitude towards the\u00a0Ruslaan team,<\/em>\u00a0by writing, \u201cThis one’s to the silent hero’s where I\u00a0learnt\u00a0to bring myself to the table,who’s\u00a0brought out the best in me and where I learnt to brush off my bruises like dust. To best director Karan\u00a0Butani\u00a0,the\u00a0kindest DOP Srinivas Reddy and the coolest action masters Vikram Dahiya, Dinesh Subbarayan, and the\u00a0bestest\u00a0team of\u00a0the incredibly\u00a0talented stuntmen who taught me more about life, passion\u00a0and humility .\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in an\u00a0NDTV review<\/a>, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave\u00a0Ruslaan\u00a0<\/em>1.5 out of 5 stars. He wrote, \u201cThe character of\u00a0Ruslaan<\/em>\u00a0is an extension because the story begins with a Muslim terrorist receiving his comeuppance. The onus on his son, the lone survivor of the family, to work extremely hard to clear his name.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cRuslaan<\/em>, for all the deafening noise that it makes about the hero’s unwavering, steely loyalty, emphatically reinforces the good Muslim-bad Muslim binary. The bad is exceedingly bad; the good is immeasurably good,\u201d Saibal Chatterjee added.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
