NEW DELHI: Ravindra Jadeja dished out an all-round performance to help Chennai Super Kings<\/a> register a comfortable 28-run victory over Punjab Kings in the IPL 2024 match in Dharamsala on Sunday.
Jadeja played a crucial innings of 43 runs off just 26 balls, helping CSK<\/a> reach a competitive total of 167\/9 after they were asked to bat first by Sam Curran.
Later, the left-arm spinner returned to take three wickets for 20 runs in four overs during the critical middle phase of the match, derailing PBKS’ chase, which concluded at 139 for nine.
Following his match-winning heroics, Jadeja went on to become the player with Man of the Match awards for CSK in the IPL. He went past former captain MS Dhoni<\/a>‘s record of 15 awards.
