This kind of investment is yet to be seen even..\u201d a growth-stage fintech entrepreneur said.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"subHead\">Data decoded:<\/span> According to data from Venture Intelligence, ten late-stage deals were closed in April compared to four in 2023. The amount invested in these deals stood at $410 million as against $109 million during the same period a year ago. This includes secondary share sales.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"subHead\">Rare unicorn:<\/span> So far, only two unicorns emerged this year \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/tech\/funding\/saas-fintech-startup-perfios-secures-80-million-in-funding-from-tvg\/articleshow\/108455405.cms\" data-type=\"tilCustomLink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Perfios<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/tech\/funding\/ola-founder-bhavish-aggarwals-krutrim-ai-turns-unicorn-with-50-million-funding-from-matrix-others\/articleshow\/107166669.cms\" data-type=\"tilCustomLink\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Krutrim<\/a> \u2014 while the number was the same for the whole of 2023. They have multiple partners and are expanding their customer base.
