The box office numbers for\u00a0Srikanth<\/em>\u00a0have improved on its first Saturday. On day 2, the film, headlined by\u00a0Rajkummar Rao<\/a>, minted \u20b94 crore, according to a\u00a0Sacnilk<\/a>\u00a0report. So far, the film, directed by Tushar Hiranandani, has collected \u20b96.25 crore, the report added.\u00a0Srikanth<\/em>\u00a0is the biopic of visually impaired Indian industrialist Srikanth Bolla. The movie narrates the struggles he faced in life to study and achieve success.\u00a0Srikanth<\/em>\u00a0marks the first-ever on-screen collaboration between Rajkummar Rao and Alaya F. The film also features Jyotika and Sharad Kelkar.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, Bollywood trade analyst\u00a0Taran Adarsh<\/a>\u00a0posted a note on X (formerly known as Twitter) to share the opening day box office figures of\u00a0Srikanth<\/em>. He wrote, \u201cSrikanth\u00a0<\/em>puts up a decent total on Day 1\u2026Absence of major films in the marketplace has given the film that extra push\u2026 However, the biz needs to multiply on Sat-Sun for a respectable weekend total\u2026 Fri \u20b9 2.41 crore. #India biz. #Boxoffice.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPost the disastrous results of #BMCM [Bade Miyan Chote Miyan<\/em>]\u00a0and #Maidaan<\/em>\u00a0exactly a month ago [#Eid; 11 April], #Srikanth<\/em>\u00a0is the first *#Hindi film* to breach \u20b9 2 cr mark on *Day 1*, which may not be a huge number, but given the fact that it’s a mid-sized film, plus keeping in mind the cold response meted out to releases in April, it’s a fair result, frankly.
