According to Delhi Fire Services<\/a> officials, there was a fire<\/a> inside the Income Tax CR Building<\/a> in the ITO<\/a> area on Tuesday. There was no reported casualty. The old Police Headquarters<\/a>, which is still home to some of the force’s units, sits across from the building where the fire<\/a> started.<\/p>\n

“At 3:07 p.m., we got a call about a fire in the Income Tax CR building. Twenty-one fire tenders<\/a> in all have been rushed. In order to preserve law and order and conduct more investigation, we have also notified the local police about the situation,” DFS representatives<\/a> stated.<\/p>\n

Several videos that surfaced on social media<\/a> purport to show that the building’s occupants sought refuge on the window ledge as they fled the fire.<\/p>\n
