The report states that a young man died while in police custody<\/a> at Chipiyana Chowki<\/a> in the Bisrakh police station<\/a> area of Greater Noida<\/a>. The deceased, Yogesh, had his brother<\/a>, Jitendra, make serious allegations<\/a> against the police, claiming they demanded five lakh rupees for his release. In response, the Noida Police Commissioner<\/a> has suspended<\/a> all police personnel stationed at the Chowki, a NBT report stated.<\/p>\n

Yogesh, employed at a bakery in Chipiyana, was brought in for questioning after allegations were made against him by a colleague. According to Jitendra, his brother was taken by the police who demanded a hefty sum for his release. Despite Jitendra providing Rs 50,000 and a bottle of liquor, the police allegedly demanded an additional four and a half lakh rupees. Tragically, Yogesh was found hanging the following morning.<\/p>\n

A police officer revealed that Yogesh, originally from Aligarh, worked in a Chipiyana bakery where a female colleague had leveled accusations against him. Yogesh was called in for questioning and, on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock, he was discovered having committed suicide<\/a> at the police station. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, he was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, two individuals lost their lives, and three others sustained injuries following a high-speed collision<\/a> involving a BMW X4 and an e-rickshaw near Sumitra Hospital in sector 35 of Noida<\/a> on Thursday morning. Law enforcement has apprehended two individuals in connection with the incident.<\/p>\n

As per police reports, the event unfolded around 6 am as five individuals were traveling in the e-rickshaw.<\/p>\n

“The e-rickshaw, en route to Noida City Centre metro station from the Sector 12-22 intersection, was struck from behind by a speeding BMW car near Sumitra Hospital. Upon witnessing the collision, bystanders promptly alerted the authorities. All five occupants were swiftly transported to the hospital, where two were pronounced dead upon arrival,” stated Manish Mishra, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Noida.The deceased, identified as Mohammad Mustafa (aged 50) and Rashmi (aged 25), a Staff Nurse at Metro Hospital<\/a> in Sector 11, were accompanied by the injured: Rajendra (aged 45), the rickshaw driver, Pawan (aged 27), and Suraj (aged 20).”The three injured parties are currently receiving medical attention at a private hospital in Sector 110. Tushar and Adi, both in their early twenties and residents of Sector 41, who were passengers in the BMW, have been apprehended at the scene, while one individual fled,” Mishra added.<\/p>\n

An FIR has been lodged at the Sector 24 police station<\/a> under applicable sections of the Indian Penal Code. The absconding suspect, identified as Aman Sisodia from Sector 41, is being pursued.<\/p>\n

The deceased’s bodies have been sent for autopsy, and their next of kin have been notified. The investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
