Khaitan was 69 and is survived by her son-in-law, <!-- -->Anshuman Jalan<!-- -->, and grandchildren. She was the youngest among her siblings &#8211; brother Aditya Birla and sister Jayshree Mohta. Khaitan was also the trustee of the <!-- -->Ashok Hall Group of Schools.<br \/>Her daughter Vidula Jalan had died in May last year.
