Four individuals, including two MBBS students<\/a>, have been arrested for their alleged involvement in running a paper solver gang<\/a> for NEET exams. The incident came to light on May 5 during the NEET exam<\/a> at Bhartiya Vidya Bhavan Mehta Vidyalaya<\/a> in Tilak Marg area, when a student’s biometric data did not match. The arrested individuals<\/a> include two proxy students<\/a>, Sumit Mandoliya and Krishan Kesarwani, who were apprehended from the exam center.<\/p>\n

Case Transferred to Special Staff<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Due to the seriousness of the offense, the case was transferred to the Special Staff of New Delhi District<\/a>. A dedicated team, led by Inspector Sanjay Kumar Gupta, was formed to conduct the investigation<\/a>s, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) Devesh Kumar Mahla.Handlers<\/a> Identified and Nabbed<\/strong>
During interrogation, Mandoliya and Kesarwani, both MBBS students, disclosed the names of their handlers — Prabhat Kumar (27) and Kishor Lal (37) — who were subsequently arrested from a hotel in Noida on Friday. Kumar and Lal, residents of Rajasthan and Bihar respectively, allegedly worked as medical school admissions consultants<\/a>. They would charge aspiring candidates Rs 20 to 25 lakhs to arrange proxy students for the NEET exams.<\/p>\n

Exam Deception Technique<\/a> Revealed<\/strong>
The accused would reportedly digitally manipulate photos of the proxy and original students to create a new photo for the exam forms, thereby misleading the examiners.<\/p>\n

Background of the Accused<\/strong>
Mandoliya, hailing from Rajasthan, is a second-year MBBS student at a Medical College in West Bengal<\/a>. On the other hand, Kesarwani, from Uttar Pradesh, is a first-year student of MBBS at a Medical College in Uttarakhand<\/a>.Recovered Items and Ongoing Investigation<\/strong>
The police have seized four mobile phones and a Kia Seltos car from the possession of the accused. Further interrogation is being conducted to ascertain the extent of their involvement in previous exams. The investigation is still ongoing.<\/div>\n
