MS Dhoni’s Retirement Decision:\u00a0<\/strong>MS Dhoni, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend, has not yet announced his retirement from the Indian Premier League (IPL).<\/p>\n

While many fans and cricket experts feel that this might have been the final time that he had played for CSK, a new media report reckons that his decision to retire or continue playing depends on a rule that will be declared by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ahead of the IPL 2025 Mega-Auction.<\/p>\n

A report carried by Indian Express claims that Dhoni’s decision to whether or not retire will depend on the number of retentions each team is allowed as teams head into the mega-auction. Dhoni played all 14 matches for CSK in IPL 2024, scoring 161 runs at a strike rate of 220.55.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, in a recent video doing the rounds on internet, Dhoni can be seen talking about how seriously he takes his fitness and why it is important for him to be fit, if he needs to compete year after year in the IPL.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The toughest thing is\u2026 I am not playing cricket throughout the year. So I have to be fit. Once I come, you are competing against youngsters who are fit and playing international cricket. Professional sport is not easy, nobody gives you a discount for age. If you want to play, you have to be as fit as the other guy. Age does not really give that grace to you. So, eating habits, a bit of training and all those things are there. Social media, thankfully, I am not on social media, so there\u2019s less distraction,” Dhoni can be heard saying in the video.<\/p>\n
