Haryana government<\/a> has declared the closure of all schools from tomorrow, May 28. The decision has been taken considering the scorching heat and rising temperature<\/a>. As of now, Haryana’s temperature<\/a> is 46 degrees. Haryana school summer vacations are announced for both private and government colleges. Students and parents are advised to contact the respective school administrations for details.<\/p>\n

As per the official notice<\/a> issued today, May 27, all schools will now reopen from July 1, 2024. “Haryana Directorate of School Education<\/a> has announced summer vacation<\/a> in all the schools (government and private) of the state from 28 May 2024 to 30 June 2024. Schools will be reopened from July 1, 2024,” the official notice reads.<\/p>\n

This is to be noted that earlier Haryana Summer vacation 2024 dates were from June 1 to 30, which is now preponed to May 28 to June 30.<\/p>\n

Several North Indian states including the hilly areas like Himachal Pradesh are facing severe heatwave<\/a>. The weather department<\/a> has issued warnings for several states. On Sunday, Haryana’s Narnaul sizzled at 47 degrees Celsius and Punjab’s Faridkot at 47.4 degrees Celsius.<\/p>\n

A red warning has been issued for Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, west Uttar Pradesh, and Gujarat, indicating a “very high likelihood” of heat illness<\/a> and heat stroke<\/a> for all age groups.<\/p>\n

As per the official data, at least 37 places in Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Madhya Pradesh recorded maximum temperatures of 45 degrees Celsius or above on Sunday.Schools in states like Punjab, Delhi, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and others are also closed.<\/div>\n
