The defamation complaint against Gandhi was filed by <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/bjp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BJP<\/a> leader <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/vijay-mishra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Vijay Mishra<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p><!--\/article_liveblog.cms?msid=107107653potime:2-->Gandhi&#8217;s lawyer Kashi Prasad Shukla gave an application in the court, saying the <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/congress-leader\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Congress leader<\/a> was busy campaigning for Lok Sabha polls and needed time to appear before the court. <\/p>\n<p> <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/judge-shubham-verma\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Judge Shubham Verma<\/a> fixed June 7 as the next date of hearing. <\/p>\n<p> Plaintiff&#8217;s lawyer <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/santosh-kumar-pandey\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Santosh Kumar Pandey<\/a> told the court that Gandhi is running away from the court. <\/p>\n<p>The court had issued a <a data-ga-onclick=\"Inarticle articleshow link click#News#href\" href=\"https:\/\/economictimes.indiatimes.com\/topic\/warrant\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">warrant<\/a> against Gandhi in December last.
