Barring, their campaign opener against Afghanistan in Guyana, the Blackcaps will be playing all of their group-stage fixtures at the Brian Lara Stadium in Trinidad.  <!-- \/8323530\/ITv_Desktop_VDO_1X1 -->\n  <\/p>\n<p>New Zealand Cricket took to Instagram to upload a video announcing the arrival of the players in the Caribbean.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:500px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/C7iJ0kVv1XA\/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link\"\/>\n<p>&#8220;Touchdown in Trinidad, the playing group has arrived in the Caribbean ahead of the T20 World Cup,&#8221; the Balckcaps captioned the video.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;West Indies is a tough place to get to for a start, so it&#8217;s not easy to get everyone to Trinidad and Tobago at the same time,&#8221; head coach Gary Stead had said earlier. &#8220;For us, we don&#8217;t have warm-up games. There&#8217;s a number of guys who have been in the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indiatvnews.com\/topic\/ipl\" rel=\"noopener\">IPL<\/a> for the last two months and we&#8217;ve also recently come off the tour to Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There&#8217;s a lot of experience in the group who have played in the CPL before, so we&#8217;ll be leaning on those guys and making sure the training we get prior to the first game puts us in a position of where we want to be.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Notably, New Zealand are yet to win\u00a0the ICC Men&#8217;s T20 World Cup trophy.
