Barely a day has gone by since multiple exit polls<\/a> signalled a likely third consecutive term<\/a> for the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA<\/a> government at the Centre, but the BJP<\/a> leader is already set to hold multiple meetings<\/a> on Sunday. One of these meetings will entail a review<\/a> of the 100-day agenda<\/a> of the new government.Among a total of around seven meetings, Modi<\/a> will hold a long brainstorming session to review the 100-day agenda of the new government, sources told ET.<\/p>\n

The Lok Sabha<\/a> poll results will be announced on Tuesday, June 4.<\/p>\n

Government sources told PTI<\/a> that Modi will also chair meetings to review the aftermath of the Cyclone Remal<\/a>, especially in the north east region hit by natural disasters. They said he will also chair a meeting to review the heatwave situation in the country besides another meeting to review the preparations to celebrate the World Environment Day<\/a>, which falls on June 5, at a large scale. <\/p>\n

Prime Minister Modi and his Council of Ministers had on March 3 had brainstormed over the vision document for “Viksit Bharat: 2047” and a detailed action plan for the next five years.A 100-day agenda for immediate steps to be taken after a new government<\/a> is formed in June was deliberated upon during the daylong meeting of the Council.<\/p>\n

Exit poll outcomes

Exit polls on Saturday indicated that Prime Minister Narendra Modi<\/a> is poised to secure a third consecutive term, with the BJP-led NDA expected to win a significant majority in the Lok Sabha elections.<\/p>\n

India Today-Axis My India forecasted 361-401 seats for the BJP-led alliance and 131-166 seats for the opposition INDIA bloc in the 543-member Lok Sabha. ABP-C Voter predicted 353-383 seats for the ruling alliance and 152-182 seats for the INDIA bloc.<\/p>\n

Today’s Chanakya projected a considerably higher tally for the BJP and its alliance compared to the 2019 elections, predicting 335 seats for the BJP and 400 for the NDA, with a margin of 15 seats either way. The opposition alliance was estimated to secure 107 seats, with a possible variation of 11 seats.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
