In the Pune Porsche crash case<\/a>, a forensic report<\/a> has confirmed that the blood samples<\/a> used in place of the teen driver<\/a>‘s belonged to his mother. This revelation was presented by the police<\/a> to the Pune court, Press Trust of India reported. The parents of the accused<\/a>, Shivani and Vishal Agarwal, had previously been arrested<\/a> for allegedly destroying evidence, specifically for tampering with the blood sample of their minor son. Alongside them, two doctors from Sassoon General Hospital<\/a> have also been detained for their involvement in this tampering.The Pune police<\/a> have requested a 14-day extension of remand<\/a> for the 17-year-old involved in the crash that resulted in two fatalities. This request was made to the Juvenile<\/a> Justice Board (JJB), as the current remand period was set to expire on today. <\/p>\n

The crash occurred in the early hours of May 19 in Kalyani Nagar, Pune, when a Porsche, allegedly driven by the intoxicated juvenile, collided with a two-wheeler, killing two IT professionals<\/a>. Initially, the JJB had granted bail to the minor, a real estate developer’s son, and directed him to write a 300-word essay on road safety. However, following public outcry, the police petitioned the JJB again, resulting in the minor being sent to an observation home<\/a> until June 5.<\/p>\n

The police have arrested several individuals in connection with the case, including the juvenile\u2019s parents, two doctors, and another staff member from Sassoon General Hospital. The charges revolve around the swapping of the juvenile\u2019s blood samples with his mother\u2019s to manipulate evidence. The juvenile’s grandfather has also been detained related to the incident.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday, the police arrested two more individuals who allegedly acted as intermediaries. These men are accused of facilitating financial transactions between the juvenile\u2019s father and the implicated doctors. The police reported that they gave Rs 3 lakh to a hospital employee to pass on to a doctor for the purpose of swapping the blood samples.<\/p>\n
